The Spy in the Attic October 18th

The next installment of the Gaslamp Museum at the Davis-Horton’s History Talks! lecture series explores a little known story of San Diego espionage. On October 18th, GQHF Historian, Sandee Wilhoit, will share her research into a fascinating part of Davis-Horton House history, when a German spy set up operations in the attic. German officer Karl Offer used the attics vantage point to watch and report on the movement of the American Pacific Fleet in San Diego Bay.  Come learn the story of Karl Offer and the Davis-Horton House’s place in espionage history!
