Google Grants

Google Grants

August 11, 2017

The Gaslamp Museum is the recipient of a $10,000 Google Ads Grant. The GQHF  partnered with Goozleology to apply for the Google Grant to drive traffic to our new, mobile-friendly website.

What is Google Ad Grants?
Google Ad Grants is part of Google for Non-Profits where qualifying non-profits of all sizes can receive up to $10,000 per month for in-kind advertising in Google’s search results. From there, a non-profit can receive targeted visitors to their website’s pages. The Google Ad Grant website states, “You could recruit more volunteers. Attract more donations. And share your story with audiences all over the globe. It’s all possible with Google Ad Grants.”

GQHF Case Study
CAF signed up for Google Ad Grants in a simple online process. Ed with Goozleology helped the GQHF set up the site for Google AdWords. He and the staff worked together to uncover unique keywords that have been helpful in driving more traffic to the site.

Over the last six months that the grant has been in effect, the GQHF website  has experienced  the following over last year:

  • Users: Increased by 41.6%
  • Sessions up by 35.9%
  • $5365/mo in in-kind advertising on Google

Goozleology works to help non-profits maximize their online presence through free Google AdWords. This has enabled the GQHF to share our mission with a new audience. Thanks, Ed and Goozzleology!
